Institutional industrial casters from Carpin are designed for more challenging applications with a maximum load weight rating that ranges from 135 to 200 lbs. per caster depending on the product.
These industrial grade casters are available in standard wheel diameters ranging from 75mm to 125mm, with wheels constructed from nylon (PA6), soft rubber, hard rubber, or polypropylene (PP).
Carpin institutional industrial casters can be ordered as rigid (non-swivel) or swivel, with or without a side brake. Various bearings are available, including single bearing, double bearing, PA bushing, or steel bearing.
If the required load weight is over 400 lbs. per caster, then rocker bearings or ball bearings are generally recommended. Floor type and floor condition are important to consider with heavier load weights, especially if the caster needs to pass over cracks, door thresholds, or other obstructions.
