Plastic and metal nail-on glides from Carpin install easily into the base of wood furniture to protect flooring surfaces from the rough wood edges of wooden chairs and table legs.
Available in base diameters ranging from 5/8″ up to 1-1/8″, Carpin nail-on glides are made of a high grade polyethylene or nylon base with a steel nail overmolded.
The polyethylene or nylon base provides a soft, cushioned feel for chairs and tables, and is especially beneficial for protecting uneven flooring surfaces such as ceramic tile or concrete.

These nail-on glides are made of high grade polyethylene or nylon bases, a steel nail overmolded into the plastic. Metal Nail-On Glides with Cushion Series 050

These metal nail-on glides have bases of nickel plated steel and the steel nail is overmolded into the polyethylene plastic which fills the metal base. The polyethylene cushion creates a decorative appearance and provides an element of cushion, a softer feel when chairs and tables are being moved, especially on uneven surfaces such as ceramic time or concrete flooring. The large radius on the steel base allows for easy sliding on carpet.
